A bit about me

Hi, my name’s Rowena Wilcox and I’m a shopaholic. There, I said it.

I’m in my third and final year of a Ba Journalism degree and will be using this blog to comment on stories that have been reported in the media, to air my own musings and hopefully to break a story or two myself.

I love writing (excuse the clichè) and want to pursue it as a career after I graduate.

I’m a fashion junkie, (sorry Ms Greer, I know I do nothing to buck the trend for female stereotypes). Until The Priory starts admiting retail junkies I vow to: continue to add numerous items to my basket on net a porter that I really can’t afford; continue to spend every other lunch hour in Topshop; and to continue walking in shoes that make my feet look like they have been in a blender when I take them off.

The aim of the blog is to cover a diverse range of topics so don’t switch off if you don’t like Chanel…maybe Prada will be mentioned tomorrow.

On a more serious note: despite what you may believe, this will not be a fashion blog. Yes it might be mentioned from time to time, but the wardrobe habits of the Hollywood A-list do not feature high on Newsandthat’s agenda.
